About IHAT:

India Health Action Trust was instituted in 2003 as a Charitable Trust with a vision to meaningfully impact the lives of vulnerable and marginalised people by addressing health and social inequities. The Trust is working towards reducing inequities by developing comprehensive and sustainable programmes to improve population health. Since its inception, IHAT has working closely with the Government of India and state governments, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Bihar to achieve public health goals. Our work is focused in areas of prevention and control of HIV and Tuberculosis, in achieving significant improvements in Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health, improved Nutrition among mothers and children, and strengthening health systems. We use program science to optimise and scale public health programs while partnering with the governments and communities.

About Program:

The Uttar Pradesh Technical Support Unit (UPTSU) provides integrated Technical Assistance (TA) to the government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP), which focuses on accelerating progress in reproductive, maternal, new-born and child health, and nutrition (RMNCHN). UPTSU works closely with the GoUP at the state, district and local levels to optimize RMNCHN programs and services. The technical assistance provided by UPTSU is integrated within the GoUP’s health system response for scale-up and sustainability. UPTSU focuses on interventions to improve outcomes in Family Planning, Maternal and New-born Health, and Nutrition, along with Routine Immunization, Digital Health, and other initiatives.

Job Summary :

Ekavach Coordinator will be part of the dedicated help desk established to support eKavach and eSushrut application rollout at the district level.  Sh/e intensively extends support to rollout district-level training along with Master Trainers and provides handholding and mentoring support to the block team in rolling out training with quality. S/he will be reporting to District Specialist Community Outreach.

Key Deliverables expected from the Job Role

  • Operationalization of district level Help Desk for supporting eKavach and eSushrut application
  • Mentoring and capacity-building support to district and block level master trainers
  • Provide support to key district and block level government functionaries on the use of eKavach dashboard data.

Key Inputs expected from the Job Role

  • S/he will be part of the dedicated helpdesk and eKavach support team that will be established at the district level who will be responsible for troubleshooting emerging issues both online and offline.
  • S/he will support in troubleshooting on application-related issues faced by end users (ASHAs, ANMs, ASHA Sanginis, CHOs).
  • S/he will travel to the field for hands-on support to end users on reported issues.
  • S/he will be responsible for escalating queries that are not solvable at the district level for resolution.
  • S/he will support district and block level government functionaries in developing training microplans and updation of training tracker.
  • S/he will support in rollout of capacity building for district and block level personnel and the end-users (ASHAs, ASHA Sanginis, ANMs, CHOs) using existing platforms like review meetings, cluster meetings, SC meetings among others.
  • S/he will provide support to key district and block level government functionaries on the use of eKavach dashboard data.
  • S/he will be responsible for updating the CMO, ACMO and DPMU unit through DSCO and tracking the progress of the application rollout with the help of data available on the eKavach dashboard as feedback based on field visits.
  • S/he will conduct supportive supervision visits (focusing on poor-performing areas) along with concerned NHM officials to assess the application’s progress
  • S/he will provide mentoring support to ASHAs and ANMs on eKavach, using the existing platforms like AAA meetings, cluster meetings, ANM weekly meetings and CVHNDs. Based on these visits, the support team would provide feedback to the concerned UPTSU district lead.
  • S/he will be update the line manager frequently on the status of the application.
  • Any other task assigned by organization.

 

Work Experience:
  • At least one-year experience in any of the RMNCHA and nutrition intervention
  • Experience in rolloingout digital application

 

Education:

Required

  • Candidates must be graduate in any field

Preferred

  • Post graduate degree in social work/social sciences will be preferred
  • Knowledge in use of digital applications will be preferred
  • Female candidates will be preferred
