India Health Action Trust (IHAT) works towards reducing inequities by developing comprehensive and sustainable programs to improve population health. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals, IHAT works closely with the Government of India and state governments to achieve public health goals. IHAT’s work is focused in areas of prevention and control of HIV and Tuberculosis, in achieving significant improvements in Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health, improved Nutrition among mothers and children, and strengthening health systems.
IHAT has set up multiple Technical Support Units (TSU) and an Innovation Hub to provide techno-managerial assistance and coordinate with the Governments, Non-Government Agencies, Academic Institutions and Communities.
Director/ Dy. Director – Human Resources will be reporting to the Managing Trustee, IHAT, or a designated person.
The position requires 20-30% travel to the project/branch offices.
Director/Deputy Director, HR shall be responsible for strategic HR inputs and implementation of HR policies for all staff. She/he will be responsible for mapping out the existing HR processes and lead HR Transformation projects in specific HR functions to revitalize the internal HR Management processes to achieve high employee motivation and performance in the organization.
With a direct reporting to CEO on the HR management functions of the project, Director/DD, HR shall play a pivotal role in developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall plan and strategic direction of the project, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, employee engagement and HR operations.
